Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them only to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that can include an IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the site and learn which pages visitors use. Cookies or similar technology may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use the Data
The data described above helps us operate the site, troubleshoot faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Stanton People Search links to city, Orange County, and California government portals, along with library collections and third-party search tools. Information submitted to any linked service is controlled by that service's privacy policy, not ours. The same applies to sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who May Receive Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Safeguard Data
The site uses an encrypted connection. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the uses stated above. Because the site has no user accounts, it holds no account password or member profile for you.
Visitors Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. California's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, known as DROP, begins requiring registered data brokers to process deletion requests starting August 1, 2026, subject to the exceptions in Civil Code section 1798.99.86(c). Because we retain very little, requests to us are usually limited to checking our contact mailbox and server logs and removing what we find. Submit a request through the Contact page. Public records kept by Stanton, Orange County, or California offices remain outside our control, so any request concerning those records must go to the custodian.
